BAKKIE040 is a breeding ground for new opportunities and encounters. Former homeless people are turned into excellent baristas here, through which they gain valuable work experience…
and lay a stable foundation for their future. We are much more than a coffee shop; BAKKIE040 is a meeting place where all walks of life come together.

BAKKIE040 has two unique locations that contribute to our mission to create opportunities and strengthen connections. Both places offer a nice atmosphere where people come together for a good cup of coffee.
Location
Our coffee shop on Strijp-S was located in Plug-in-City but has moved. You'll now find us around the corner in Matchbox; the first building on Strijp-S made almost entirely from bio-based materials.
Philitelaan 308, Eindhoven
Now also a familiar name among students and lecturers: our second coffee bar, located on the TU/e campus. Here we offer the same quality coffee, homemade cakes, and fresh lunch.

It is a meeting place for students, faculty and staff, promoting idea exchange and collaboration. The presence of BAKKIE040 contributes to campus culture by providing a place where you can escape the daily hustle and bustle and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
